10,000 - The Dice Game

To play, six dice are needed.

Value Rolls

  • Ones = 100 and Fives = 50
  • Value Dice Needed Every Roll
  • Triples Equal Die Number * 100 [2,2,2 = 200]
  • Small Straights [5 Dice] = 750
  • Large Straights [All Dice] = 1,500
  • Doubles [2,2,3,3,4,4] = 750
  • Triple One = 1,000

Rules

  • Value die must be kept to rack up points
  • One value die required to roll other dice again
  • When all dice have value, points are banked, and all dice rolled again
  • At least 1,000 Points Needed to 'Get on the Board'
  • Players 'On the Board' Can Stop Rolling at Any Point Level
  • Goal: Get 10,000 Points or More
  • Last Round Starts When 10,000 is Reached
  • Non-10,000 Point Players Get One Last Turn
  • Highest Score Wins

When Player One and Two roll 350 points or more, they bank those points and end their turn.

The Gambler, on the other hand, continues to roll until they reach 1,000 points, or bust trying.

All Six Dice Land On Same Number

Since I've never personally seen this happen, I wanted to record how often all six dice land on the same number.

Apparently, out of 100,000 games, all dice land on the same number about 1178 times. The following is a break down of the times each number came up.
